Land Rover has long celebrated the spirit of adventure-not just on the road, but on horseback as well, which is why the legendary off-road performer is proud to support a legendary cross-country equestrian competition, where the world's finest riders also put horsepower to the ultimate test.
In keeping with a long tradition of supporting equestrian sports, Land Rover is pleased to be the new sponsor of the International Burghley Three Day Event. The event, which runs from September 1-4, 2005, represents one of England's most prestigious and rigorous cross-country equestrian courses, where the world's finest riders and horses come to compete.
Land Rover is sponsoring five obstacles throughout the cross-country course, and is supplying the event's medical and veterinary teams and officials with a fleet of vehicles. Slated to sponsor the event for the next three years, Land Rover looks forward to participating in one of the equestrian world's most challenging competitions.
